The State Key Laboratory of Particle Astrophysics (SKLPA) at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP) is seeking talented individuals in the field of high-energy astrophysics and cosmology, particularly those with expertise in time-domain and multi-messenger astronomy, radio astronomy, theoretical and computational astrophysics, gamma-ray and neutrino astronomy, as well as data analysis and theoretical modeling in cosmic microwave background polarization measurements.
SKLPA's research is centered on understanding the origin of cosmic rays, the physics surrounding black holes and neutron stars, and the inflationary and expansion history of the universe. We are dedicated to advancing large-scale scientific facilities and have successfully commissioned space-based telescopes and instruments such as Insight-HXMT, GECAM, EP-FXT, and SVOM-GRM, as well as ground-based facilities like LHAASO. Currently, we are developing future facilities, including eXTP, HERD, AliCPT, LACT, and HUNT. New faculty members will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with these facilities, particularly in relation to their scientific outcomes.
To apply, please submit a complete application including a CV, a research statement, and a future plan detailing how you would integrate and collaborate with SKLPA facilities, to astro_hr@ihep.ac.cn. Additionally, at least three letters of recommendation should be sent to the same Email address.
For any questions regarding this position, please send an inquiry via email to astro_hr@ihep.ac.cn.
