The Greater Bay Area Advanced Detection Technology Research and Development Base

The Greater Bay Area Advanced Detection Technology Research and Development Base is located in Hall D3 of the China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS) campus (Dongguan Division, Institute of High Energy Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Dalang Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province. It is a dedicated platform for micro-fabrication, characterization and packaging of advanced detectors, covering ultra-high-resolution cryogenic superconducting detectors, cryogenic superconducting readout electronics, semiconductor detectors, X-ray optical elements and other core detection components. The base covers a total area of more than 1000 m², including a dedicated superconducting-device micro-fabrication laboratory of over 450 m² equipped with more than 20 advanced, specialized large-scale instruments for thin-film deposition, photolithography, etching and characterization/measurement, providing strong platform support for the independent R&D of advanced detectors.
