报告摘要/Abstract:

I will discuss the Schwinger process of electron-positron pair creation out of strong electric field in a relativistic plasma.Particular attention will be given to astrophysical implications of this process, i.e. pair winds originating from compact astrophysical object such as neutron stars or hypothetical quark stars.
