题目/Title: Introduction to the inflationary model and the current status of the GroundBIRD experiment

摘要/Abstract：

The physics of the very early Universe is believed to be driven by cosmological inflation. The GroundBIRD telescope is one of instruments to study the physics of the very early Universe including the physics of inflation model. A brief introduction to the inflationary model and the current status of the GroundBIRD experiment are presented.

个人简介/Bibliography:

Eunil Won got his Ph.D in University of Rochester in 1997, and became professor in Korea University in 2004. He was the Chair of Physics Department of Korea University from 2020 to 2021. He has been working on the Belle experiment that is located in KEK/Japan from 1997 and then got interested in experimental cosmology. He is currently working on a ground based telescope project called GroundBird to detect B-mode of the CMB polarization, which can be a smoking gun level discovery of the inflation model of our universe.
