题目/Title: Corona Field's Influence on Solar Gamma Ray, Revealed by Simulation

摘要/Abstract: When high energy charged cosmic rays interact with solar atmosphere, they are converted to gamma ray and make the Sun a gamma ray source. These so-called solar gamma rays, have been observed by Fermi-LAT and HAWC, and show many unexplained oddities, such as high flux, anti-correlation to solar activity cycle, and time dependent morphology. In this talk, I will the current understanding on Solar Gamma Ray and my current work, in which study the how corona field can change the propagation of cosmic ray and subsequent gamma ray production, using Geant4 simulation.
报告人简介/Bibliography: Chingam Fong 房智岩 is a fourth year Ph.D. student in the Chinese University of Hong Kong astro-particle group. His primary interest is the intersection of cosmic ray and solar physics. Previously Chingam finished a study on keV dark matter.
