内容摘要 (Abstract):
KEKB collider recorded the world highest luminosity 2.1´1034 cm-2s-1. The KEKB operation was terminated in June 2010, and it is under a major upgrading phase to become SuperKEKB. The target luminosity of SuperKEKB is 40 times higher than that of KEKB or 8´1035 cm-2s-1. The target integrated luminosity is 50 ab-1. It is expected to collect this target luminosity by 2023 in the present scenario. In this lecture, Dr. Funakoshi will show the concept of SuperKEKB, theissues which have been discussed at KEK and the commissioning plan which is expected to startin January 2015.
演讲人简介 (Lecturer’s short bio):
At KEK, I worked and will work at 3 machines, TRISTAN, KEKB and SuperKEKB. My main duty has been the beam operation. I was in charge of beam operation of KEKB and will also be in charge of beam operation (or commissioning) of SuperKEKB. As other works, I developed an orbit feedback system to maintain the optimum collision condition at KEKB and conducted various machine studies at TRISTAN and KEKB.
