● 来访学者信息/ Marco Drewes
Dr. Marco is a professor of physics and leader of the cosmology group in the Centre for Cosmology, Particle Physics and Phenomenology (CP3) at UCLouvain. He also hold a part time visiting professorship at the Technical University of Munich. His primary area of expertise is the physics of the early universe. With his research he address some of the open questions in physical cosmology – cosmic inflation, dark matter production and neutrino decoupling – in the framework of particle physics theories.
He have contributed to over 100 scientific manuscripts with a total citation count over 15000, according to the Inspirehep Databases : http://inspirehep.net/author/profile/M.Drewes.1
ORCID profile is: https://orcid.org/0000-0003-0521-7586 .

● 报告题目和摘要/Seminar title and abstract:
-- Quantum fields in and out of equilibrium — The first lecture comprises a basic introduction to the Schwinger-Keldysh formalism of nonequilibrium quantum field theory, focusing on scalar fields.
-- Cosmic inflation and reheating — In the second lecture we apply the formalism developed in the first lecture to the description of cosmic inflation and reheating. We also discuss observational signatures, focusing on the CMB (other signatures include large scale structure and gravitational waves).
-- Dark Matter production — In the third lecture we generalize the formalism developed in lecture 1 to fermions. As an application, we study the production of Dark Matter during and after reheating.
-- Neutrino decoupling — In the final lecture we apply the formalism to the problem of neutrino decoupling in the Standard Model and a precision calculation of Neff.
