1. The IHEP Indico supports 2 kinds of login methods
(1) Login with IHEP SSO( Single Sign On) account (recommended)
(2) Login with Indico local account
local account login is supported while new local account registration is not available after the upgrade.
2. What is IHEP SSO account
The IHEP single sign on system is based on IHEP unified account system. A user can access many IHEP applications with a single account.
For the IHEP stuff, Your IHEP email account can be used as IHEP SSO account.
3. The mapping of IHEP SSO account and Indico local account
Email address, as the unique identifier, is used to map between IHEP SSO account and Indico local account. If the email addresses registered in IHEP SSO system is the same as the one in Indico local system, then the account logging in with IHEP SSO account is mapped automatically to the Indico local account. Otherwise, they will be different accounts.
Note: Before you login with IHEP SSO account, please be sure that your email address in IHEP SSO account and in Indico local account are the same one. If you are a new user, please ignore this.
4. The steps logging in Indico with IHEP SSO account for users who already have the IHEP email account but you never login https:// login.ihep.ac.cn (for IHEP employees, students etc.):
(1) Go to https://login.ihep.ac.cn/
Typing your email address and password of the IHEP email account
For example: username: your_username@ihep.ac.cn
Password: your password
Note: Before you login with IHEP SSO account, please be sure that your email address in IHEP SSO account and in Indico local account are the same one.If you are a new user, please ignore this.
(2) Click “Profile” to fill in your personal information.
(3) Logout
(4) Go to Indico page https://indico.ihep.ac.cn
Click“Login”，choose ‘IHEP SSO’
(5) Login with your username and password of IHEP email account. Here it supports short username and long username, for example: abc or abc@ihep.ac.cn
5. Register IHEP SSO account for new users
Note: please be sure that your email address in IHEP SSO account and in Indico local account are the same one. If you are a new user, please ignore this.
(1) For IHEP employees, if you do not have an IHEP email account, please apply for it first. After that, use the steps in 4 to login Indico.
(2) For visitors, please register IHEP SSO account here

Please fill the form below.
If you have a collaboration group, please click “Collaboration” and choose your groups.
For the contact person’s email, an IHEP employee’s email address is needed. If you do not have , please you ask organizers of your conference to help you.
After clicking "Register", the system will automatically send an email to your mailbox. Please log in to your mailbox and click the verification link inside to complete the registration
6. After successfully registering for IHEP SSO account, please log in to Indico

8．BESIII category authorization
BESIII category under open zone is protected now. BESIII group members are allowed to access it.
(1) BESIII members must login Indico at lease once with your IHEP SSO account to get the authorization tohave access to BESIII conferences .
(2) When some users login Indico with your IHEP SSO account at the first time, Indico cache may affect the authorization. So if you are failed in authorizing, please re-try after a while.
Indico 登录说明
高能所Iindico 已升级到3.0版本。这里是高能所Indico登录说明。
1. 高能所Indico提供2种登录方式：
（1） 使用高能所统一认证系统（IHEP SSO）账号登录（推荐使用）
（2） 使用Indico本地账户登录
支持Indico本地帐号登录，但是新用户禁止注册本地帐号。
2. 高能所统一认证账号：
中科院高能所单点登录统一认证系统是基于高能所的统一账号系统，用户使用单个账号可以访问所内多项应用服务。
中科院高能所邮件系统账号可作为中科院高能所统一认证系统账号。
3．高能所统一认证系统账号与indico本地账号的对应关系
邮件地址作为唯一标识形成高能所统一认证账号与indico本地账号的对应关系。如果用户在统一认证账号里注册的邮件地址与在indico本地账号里的邮件地址是同一个，用统一认证账号登陆indico后则自动映射到indico本地账号，视为同一个账号。否则视为不同的账号。
所以特别的提示的是：用户在使用 IHEP SSO账号登陆indico之前, 务必检查IHEP SSO 账号里的邮件地址与indico本地账号一致。新用户忽略此要求。
4. 对于已有高能所邮件系统账号,但是从未登录过https://login.ihep.ac.cn 的用户(高能所职工、学生等)，登录步骤：
（1）连接https://login.ihep.ac.cn/
输入高能所邮件地址和密码登录
例如: username: your_username@ihep.ac.cn（高能所邮件地址）
Password : your password（邮件系统密码）
（2）点击“个人资料”完善个人信息
（3）退出
（4）连接Iindico 界面https://indico.ihep.ac.cn/
点击’Login’, 选择’IHEP SSO’
（5） 输入您的高能所邮件系统的用户名和密码登录。此处用户名支持长短二种格式。 例如：abc或abc@ihep.ac.cn
5. 新用户注册高能所统一认证账号
提示：务必保持统一认证账号里的邮件地址与indico账号里的邮件地址保持一致。
新用户忽略此要求。
（1） 高能所职工，并且没有高能所邮件系统账号的用户，需先申请高能所邮件系统账号，然后使用 4中的步骤登录
（2） 对于客座、外单位人员，可在下列地址注册高能所统一认证账号
https://login.ihep.ac.cn/registIndico.jsp
请填写下列表格。
如果您参加合作组，请点击“Collaboration”选择合作组。
对于“the contact person’s email”，请添写高能所职工邮件地址，如何您没有，请联系您的会议组织者给您提供帮助。
点击“Register”后系统会自动给您的邮箱发一封邮件，请登录您的邮箱，点击里面的验证链接完成注册
6. 申请成功IHEP SSO帐号后，登录Indico 步骤

8. BESIII 目录授权
BESIII目录启用了组保护，只有BESIII成员才能访问。
(1)BES3用户必须至少使用SSO方式登录一次，才能有权访问相关的会议；
(2)部分用户首次使用SSO登录时，indico系统cache会影响权限判断，所以SSO用户若有权限问题，可等一会儿重试
