报告摘要：
Pulsar wind nebulae (PWNe) are powerful sources of non-thermal X-ray radiation, which is intrinsically polarized due to synchrotron emission. The magnetic field strength and structure in these sources play a crucial role in shaping their dynamics, energetics and evolution, as well as in accelerating particles to very high energies. X-ray polarimetry can provide unique insights into understanding the local orientation and degree of order of the magnetic field, as well as the distribution and spectrum of the emitting particles. In this talk, I will review the current status and future prospects of X-ray polarimetry applied to extended source PWN, with a focus on the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) mission, which is a NASA/ASI explorer launched in December 2021.

谢斐，2016年获得中国科学院高能物理研究所博士学位；2016-2018年在瑞典皇家理工学院（KTH）从事博士后研究；2018-2021年在意大利国家天体物理研究所（IAPS/INAF）从事博士后研究。2021年10月入职广西大学，教授，博士生导师。主要从事空间X射线偏振探测技术和观测科学研究，研究领域主要是脉冲星风云和X射线双星；2022年主持完成Vela脉冲星风云的高能偏振特性研究，并在Nature发表。
